Annual Meeting & Elections

February 05, 2018

Date: Monday, February 5th
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Location: Perkins Coie, LLP, 1120 NW Couch Street, 10th Floor, Portland, OR 97209

OFALA is holding its Annual Meeting and Elections and request all members to attend in person.  In addition to good food and great company, we will hold elections for President, President-elect, Treasurer, Secretary, and three at-large Board members.  As a new organization, the Board will be recommending to the membership that the current officers be re-elected to their respective positions and that the three at-large members be re-elected to the Board to serve two-year terms.  We will also take nominations from the floor.  Under our bylaws, only active members may vote and hold office (associate members like law students, paralegals, or other non-lawyers are not eligible to vote or hold office), and there is no proxy voting so we hope to see you in person.  Feel free to bring a friend or two who may be interested in joining or supporting OFALA; we will have membership forms available at the meeting.  Tambayan is catering for us and Perkins Coie is graciously hosting us for our annual meeting that will be filled with good food, great company, a recap of 2017, and an overview of what is in on the horizon for a strong 2018 as OFALA continues to grow stronger and establish its presence in the community.  We hope you can join us on February 5th.  If you have any questions about the elections or the annual meeting, please e-mail <contact@OregonFALA.org>.
